AKAR is a new boutique retreat hub in the heart of Bali’s sun child Canggu. Unlike most other retreat centers, AKAR has been designed and built to provide a space for absolutely any kind of retreat.
Yoga, water sports, bootcamps, crafts, art, corporate events, weddings – even circus acrobats have found a retreat platform with AKAR that is fully customizable and flexible.
At AKAR we aim to allow people of all backgrounds and skillsets a solid and reliable platform to teach and learn what they are passionate about and enjoy events exactly as they have envisioned them.
The space is beautifully designed with handcrafted features and art from all across the Indonesian islands. 16 suites, accommodating up to 45 guests, each room with its unique detail and story to tell.

Our 16 spacious apartments offer accommodation for up to 45 guests and are equipped with king beds that can be changed into twin beds. Additionally, there is a third bed available upon request. Each room comes with its unique ethnic décor, adding to the concept of individuality and customizability whilst keeping its Indonesian identity.
